    1. Hard to imagine how this would work. Where will the money be coming from to fund the government to give out to the people? And who will pay for goods if they don’t have jobs. How will the companies in the world make money if people can’t afford to buy when they don’t have jobs. Even if it were to be true, then we will all be living in a uniform society where everyone is equal in wealth and status, but ruled by a few elites who govern the people and the funds. Scary if true. Reminds me of Twilight Zone.

    2. I think UBI should be partly funded by cryptocurrency transaction fees.

Imagine if Ethereum said „any unique person“ with an onchain identity will receive UBI funded by taxing Ethereum transactions, I think by the next day they’d have 8 billion onchain users 😂

But he won’t let himself be taxed, so I guess he’ll just be sending out checks personally? He does already has our addresses and other required info from the DOGE data breach.

      Yeah, whatever. Who’s funding it?
      No answer? Riiiiight……no answer.

He’s only pushing this because his own AI company can’t compete so he wants to slow down competitors

    7. Also inevitably leads to CBDC – expiring money. Some of those who have „sufficient“ would have to be coerced into spending.
