I see that now that PP doesn’t have an election on the horizon that he’s happy to go back to ‚mindless attack dog‘ mode.
Lol it’s quite amazing how he keep going on attacking Carney’s credentials even thought he has none. It’s a loser issue he can win and keep push it anyway 🤣
He started hitting the gym and getting into MMA because Trudeau boxed, maybe this means he’ll actually start taking classes in PoliSci and economics now
This can’t be real.
I don’t believe Poilievre would take this approach.
It’s probably not a great strategy to go after the credentials of the former head of the Bank of Canada and England. Somehow the President of the European Central Bank and former head of the IMF just wrote about as one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people.
Pierre is stupid, but this is a level of absurdity that even he couldn’t stoop to.
Of all the things to criticize Carney for, of all the legitimate concerns and faults, this is what Poilieve goes after?
Carney’s economic credentials, including graduating magna cum laude from Harvard in Economics, then getting a Masters and PhD in economics from Oxford, then going on to be the first person ever to act as the Governor of two separate nations‘ central banks. Carney has arguably the best economic credentials on the planet, and if this is what Poilievre is attacking, it shows just how pathetic he is.
Canadians have legitimate concerns and Carney should be pressed by the opposition to ensure he is doing right by Canadians. It’s beyond clear that Poilievre is flying aimless at this point. He needs to fire whoever his advisors are.
This tracks with MAGA’s overall goal over undermining education, evidence and expertise.
They want to go back to a time where faith and obedience to authority was more important than objective reality. Many describe is as undoing the enlightenment.
