      📌 Most of Europe’s immigrant population still comes from other European countries due to proximity, open borders, and regional mobility.

      📌 France stands out with Africa as the top origin continent.

      📌 Spain shows strong migration ties with the Americas.

      📌 Sweden is unique here, with Asia as the largest source region.

      The Americans for Spain and Portugal are almost exclusively from South America.

      There are 3 sovereign countries in the map area not covered, so… anyone know the answers for Monaco, San Marino, and the Vatican?

      I would have thought it would be Asian in the UK. It must be very tight.

      EDIT:

      I’ve researched.

      Europe: 37-40%
      Asia: 20-25%
      Africa: 10-12%

      What’s notable is this is in 2021 prior to the ‘Boriswave’ and a reduction in Europeans moving. I imagine it would have changed quite a bit now.
