  1. I guess the question we should be asking is why the government is giving taxpayer dollars to religious charities?

This feels less like leadership and more like a Mean Girls audition. Policy by spite isn’t exactly presidential.

  3. To be fair, he didn’t want to fund them anyway. A feud with the Pope just allows him to be delightfully petty and vindictive.

What a small, petty person. When it happens, I will celebrate his death.

  5. I’ll say this, after Hurricane Katrina the only real support anyone was getting directly on the ground in my area was Catholic Charities.

I’m an atheist and completely against government funds going to religious organizations but Catholic Charities does do a lot of good in times of need and I will always appreciate what they did for my family and I.

  6. Oh, weird. A petty and insecure little man strikes out at those who would tell him no. Who’d of thought…

  7. Trump canceled a contract with Catholic Charities to provide food and shelter for migrant children who were separated from their parents because he’s angry at the pope. Trump is genuinely deranged. He needs to be removed from office. What is wrong with the Republicans in Congress?

Has he has to be the nastiest most aggressive person in history. No chill. No brakes. Just pedal to the metal with lashing out against anyone he perceives as crossing him. I’ve never seen anything like this. I am ready for the man to finally implode. But wonder if it will ever happen. And this freakshow is about to be 80. It seems like he’s running off of adrenaline and hate. Truly spectacular.

  9. You can all thank MAGA Cardinal Dolan for us being here, by the way. Who was just appointed a head chaplain of the **NYPD** by billionaire heiress NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch.

  10. Surely yanking millions from Catholic charities this will have the intended consequence Trump is wanting by making them all side with him over their own Pope

  11. Maybe someone could convince him that all the religions are out to get him, and then maga might decide separation of church and state is what they always wanted

Used and discarded. As much as they deserve this it bodes poorly for the country that Catholicism is now too „liberal.“

I was wondering why he started this fight, now it makes sense. He just needed to fabricate a reason to get into those accounts. I’m sure the money will go straight to the Trump Center for Republicans Who Can’t Read Good Foundation.

The president is so fucking stupid he thinks he took 11 million dollars from the pope, meanwhile what he actually did was take away 11 million dollar from poor people in FL who probably voted for him.

  15. There is no feud. We’re not in middle school.

There is Trump being his usual shitty self-absorbed self lashing out at the Pope.

There is the Pope doing his job and condemning war.

Im not Catholic, but im beyond glad Leo was chosen as Francis’s successor. He wields soft power and as such is more than required to use it to practice what his religion preaches. Which means standing up to these evil fucking ghouls.
