    >Shell and TotalEnergies have already signed 20-year LNG purchase agreements with Ksi Lisims.

One of the interesting things to me about the LNG market is the way it’s structured around these long term “take or pay” off-take agreements.

It makes it significantly different than building an oil pipeline, for example, where everything is on spec, and you don’t know if you’re going to be left without enough demand or a stranded asset. With LNG it’s like signing up subscribers, and once you’ve hit your target, you build the pipeline, with very little tail end risk, knowing they’re committed to keep taking your gas for decades.

Hopefully, Ksi Lisims and LNG Canada 2 make final investment decision and start moving forward this year.

No that can’t be true.. I’m told there no business case for selling Europe LNG.

There was a business case for cricket meal, not for LNG.

    Another great decision from JT.

Is this a test? It would be interesting to see if the US tries to obstruct this canal.

  5. I wonder if they can use Northwest Passage in the summer to skip the Panama fee

Great for Canada but it’s going to hurt the USA military’s feeling and being genocide lovers they will blow the tankers for fun into the sky . Hope buyers warn the USA milatary .
