    1. Genuinely speechless at this.

      >Siobhán Lynch told Newstalk’s Claire Byrne show she had received threats from people warning “they will put me down, they will put me where my daughter is.”
“They have slandered Grace, they have said they don’t care if Grace got a smack of a scrambler, they don’t care about the law.”
“I’ve had people tell me Grace was an absolute idiot, that it’s her own fault that she got killed. Why did she not just stay back? Why did she cross the road? How dare I stand up for my daughter? How dare I protect her name? How dare I fight and let everybody know what happened to Grace?”

Funny enough a load of little shit going up and down my road on scramblers the last few days, not common where I live.

Filthy bastards. All so they and their little rat kids can keep their bikes. The sheer selfishness and lack of humanity is so disheartening, but not surprising.

Thing is, „online threats“ give off the impression that there people on the other side of the country sending messages, or there’s some semblence of a large organised group.

In reality it’s likely just a small group of scumbags who are local to the family, but too chickenshit to say anything to their faces, so they do it online instead.

Either that or one unhinged individual who gets off on this shit.

As we know from past experience, there’s not a lot of them. They just make a lot of noise.

    6. Find them. Do not go directly to jail, go directly to Grace’s family and neighbours and friends and hand them over.

I’m not trying to be disrespectful but I’ve seen a few of Grace’s mother’s post on tiktok and the way she spoke about the person involved in Graces tragic killing and other ppl from that community hasn’t exactly been innocent. She has used strong, derogatory language in her videos against the person involved, another motorbike or electric bike user that „almost“ hit Grace aswell and onlookers who weren’t involved but didn’t do enough to help Grace (in her opinion).

I understand the woman is grieving and I feel very sorry for her. These bikes and scrambles are the bane of our existence in Dublin in particular and I agree with the law coming in, being enforced and the person or persons involved in Graces death should be punished for it. Her nearest and dearest need to get her to stop posting on social media (if they haven’t already) though because the content of the videos was really unhinged and is probably going to attract that kind of hate from the ppl she targeted in the community in her videos. She needs proper support and social media is not the space for that.

If you can afford a scrambler, you can afford to take it to a field or a track and ride it properly.

Anyone riding a scrambler or quad through an estate or park or street is a fuckin scumbag.

Lock every single one of the stupid cunts up.

Feral, idiotic degenerates. A gobshite on a scrambler wipes out a poor innocent girl, scramblers are for dirt tracks etc. They have no place on a public road. They have no place in public full stop.

This is genuinely why whenever one of these dickheads wraps himself around a pole (usually after terrorizing his locale) good, genuine people think „thank fuck, one less dickhead to worry about.“

These are not people we need in our society. Send them off to an isolated island and cut off all communication.

That’s pretty scummy behaviour. No empathy for a mother losing her child is one thing, but to go further and troll/antagonize her over it? Evil. If I remember correctly, she’s been through quite a lot over the years, and had lost a child already. I drive past Grace’s memorial every day and there’s still braindead and reckless drivers going up and down that road.

She shouldn’t have to, but Grace’s mother should probably refrain from using these community Facebook groups as her personal vlog, she took over them for a while) and shouldn’t get involved in drama, because that’s how it began and obviously it snowballed. Every few hours there was a new vlog in one of these groups and they became more drama-oriented as time went on. Obviously she didn’t start any of it and isn’t to blame, and god bless her she’s not had it easy, everyone grieves differently, but that attracts these trolls.

    12. Scumbag bastards. Yes please carry on, buy your kid a scrambler. I see more and more young ones in town with half a leg missing

    13. Scum. The worst of society that is becoming all to common in Ireland. 🗑️

This is why the government’s hands-off approach to social media, and trusting they will just regulate themselves, is laughable. They need to stop letting social media companies get away with whatever, but places like the Irish Times or Newstalk have to play by the rules

    15. Not surprised at all, nothing has changed since the tragedy, those on the scramblers still hurl abuse at you if you tell them to cop on as they could hit someone.

It really doesn’t get much lower than this. Those poor people.
