Sooooo can we stop importing „temporary“ foreign workers?

And we haven’t even begun to see AI eat into the white collar job market at scale yet. AI task time performance is currently doubling every 4 months, buckle up.

Sacrificing young Canadians because it’s politically incorrect to say that the immigration/TFW/student visa situation is excessive. Honestly, it’s nuts.

Giving 475k new PRs and 230k new TFW permits in 2026 is going to make the job market better for young Canadians? Why do the Liberals hate our youth so much?

Min wage would need to be $50 to have the homebuying power of min wage in 1985. Boomers sold us out, and continue to vote with that intention. Don’t anticipate any changes from the party that got elected on the Boomer vote.

Maybe CBC should stop advocating for more immigration and more refugees while also advocating for reduced sentences in violent criminals to prevent deportation.
Maybe this would reduce the number of unemployed people.
Just a thought.

It’s not getting better for senior professionals either: tons of Canadian companies will try to get a senior into a junior position (and pay them junior wages).
