Literally every article that comes up about NES just makes my opinion of him fall even lower. He just seems like an immature, entitled man child and he shouldnt be allowed within a mile of the liberal leadership
Seems like this is pretty contentious already. Probably not enough to stop the upcoming OLP victory here, but a civil war is never good for a party.
Doesn’t seem like NES is going to win, but neither will Jackson either.
The question is what does NES do if he loses the nomination, it’s a pretty hard press to ask to become leader when you can’t even win a party nomination. Does he stay in federal politics, or does he just ride off into the sunset?
If the Liberals are pulling this type of nonsense, then Ford might as well declare himself premier for life. With cartoonishly incompetent opposition like this, I can see why Ford be winning multiple majority governments despite polling as one of the least popular premiers in the country.
I’m interested to see if Doly Begum endorses/campaigns for the OLP candidate in the by-election. Unlike the NDP, the provincial and federal Liberal parties are not linked in Ontario. Will she sit it out or will she campaign against her old party?
