      Good for them. It’s important to take a stand. Trump is obviously nuts and congress needs to use any and every means available to attempt to remove him.

      How does this even work? The 25th is triggered by the vice president and half of Trump’s cabinet before it ever gets to the senate of congress. What is a congressional bid going to prove?
      Maybe the article explains it? I’m not paying to get past the paywall.

      What’s so completely fucked is that in my home state of KY, GOP Senate candidates are STILL trying to out Trump-suck each other. How the fuck could you live with yourself because at this point the fallout is if, not when. Even as fucked as our system is surely to God that has to be obvious by now, Trump is circling the drain in MULTIPLE ways, losing his most ardent supporters. WTF even is this?

      If they have the votes for this, they have the vote for impeachment and conviction. This is a crazy long-shot which won’t work. Why force yourself to get 2/3rd votes in the House when impeachment is simple majority?

      Twatter is going crazy over this – the bot network has been activated and it’s really ramped up in a matter of minutes. You can tell it’s all bot activity by the same format for the messages, all linking to the same story then adding a customized pithy comment. Dozens upon dozens of comments all in a row, 100% in unison. Bot bot bot bot.

      I usually don’t see such a hair-trigger response like this. This action has them spooked.
