  1. I am way past caring anymore. Apathy is a bitch. But I do think that anyone that crosses the floor, should immediately go back to a by election. Lot of people don’t vote for the candidate but the party they represented. So when people leave that party, they betray their voters. Going back to a by-election would allow the population to really show if they voted for the person, or the party.

  2. I mean, not to be a pill, but this is the system. Westminster parliaments are a whole lot of convention and gentleman’s agreements. If you don’t like it, then start advocating for electoral reform. Some of the complaining for left, right and centre has been just exhausting considering none of this is not allowed. I’m actually pretty impressed with Carney’s political acumen, I’m just dissapointed his ‘fiscal conservatism’ is beating out his ‘social progressivism’, so to speak.

Arguably were it not for Trudeau, a red Tory leading the Liberals is probably how the Libs would have rebuilt after Ignatieff.

  3. I’m sure PP loves it. Now absolutely nothing is his fault, he stays on collecting cheques and doesn’t even have the minor task of opposing a minority while making zero suggestions to improve Canada. I mean he’s all they’ve got sadly enough.

Lewis gets a few years to try to grow the NDP with zero threat of another election to wreck them.

  4. As for the CPC they should grapple on how they gave PP an 87% endorsement just over 2 months ago. The CPC turnout in all 3 ridings were dismal.
