This move is actually going to kill YouTube. The platform is dripping with extreme right wing bias and this action is no different. Are they ever going to return to being fair or are they just going to keep censoring people they don’t agree with politically? Only the most popular right wingers are allowed on YouTube now and they’re apparently allowed to hawk scam products? So, right wingers are allowed to just use click bait thumb nails, multiple channels, and deceptive titles to abuse the platform? But, other publishers follow the rules and they’re banned?

The IRGC can always find another private platform that would welcome them, or they could make their own YouTube and post music videos and deepfakes all day long. A subset of Redditors would definitely join and watch it. And they could invite ISIS too, since that entity also seems curiously to have been de-platformed by these *horrible, biased* western platforms.
