„Turn in your guns“, here are my guns. „You are under arrest for turning in your guns.“ ..huh?

Then we have contradictions from Halifax police for example saying people bringing in guns is totally normal so we will just keep doing that. Lol

It’s like forgetting to scan an item at the self-checkout, returning to the store to pay for the item, then getting arrested for shoplifting.

  4. Who in their right mind would have thought it would be a good idea to have the firearm be unsecured?

Another reason gun control has lost the moral high ground.

Do not comply & show Provost she is not in control anymore.

So is stealing legally owned property. Might want to forward that mind blowing concept to the government.

It’s an offense to keep them, it’s an offense to take them in. 90% of them can’t be registered because the system doesn’t acknowledge their existence as prohibs. Jfc this whole thing is kafkaesque.

  8. It is absolutely legal to walk around with an unloaded non-restricted rifle over my shoulder. The RCMP should really know better.

Why did Gary and provost tell people in the prairies to go to the rcmp offices then?

Ya’ll are cracking me up; read the article. This us folks walking into RCMP detachments with an unsecured firearm.

100% f the buyback, but if I walk into a cop shop with a .22 on my shoulder I know I’m getting taken down.

Common sense shot to death by the RCMP. They should be ecstatic that another dangerous weapon is off the streets. Instead, they look for an easy arrest.

What’s the crime?  It’s not unsecured legally, and ALL non-restricteds aren’t registered and aren’t required to be registered lol
