  1. Apparently Japanese news orgs will source quotes from their own “political desk” without naming the individual.

    Regardless of the content here, that strikes me as weird and more than a bit dubious.

    She’s a woman, so that’s a hit with the progressive crowd. She also seems to have conservative policies, which is a hit with the conservative crowd.

    Her failure to produce results is conveniently covered up by Trump and what’s happening in the Hormuz

    Blaming foreigners has always been popular, she takes it on overdrive and hence, the people love it.

  5. Isn’t the buzzword for politics and governing these days “information war? There’s probably some manipulation being done in the way these surveys are taken or the way the data is presented.

    Run a review of procedure. Journalist might actually have to do their job which is investigating instead of focusing all their energy on the presenting of the news.
