Larger # than what the former election was.
NDP #s while better arent that better to the point where Lewis can look at a city riding and think on being a lock of a candidate.
Obviously not the main story, but Purdy (the NDP candidate in the riding) was also the candidate in the 2025 election.
She was under 10% in that contest, and is at around 18% right now
Obviously not competitive tonight, but that trend is nice to see, especially given that the NDP often *under* performs in by-elections they aren’t seen as competitive in
