    1. Concerning details:

      >Sources tell the outlet that Meta is training the AI avatar on Zuckerberg’s image and voice, along with his mannerisms, tone, and public statements, “so that employees might feel more connected to the founder through interactions with it.”

      >Meta may start allowing creators to make AI avatars of themselves if the experiment with Zuckerberg succeeds, according to the Financial Times. In 2024, Meta showed off a live demo of what an AI persona of a creator might look like. It also started allowing creators to make AI versions of themselves to interact with followers’ comments on Instagram. Users on Meta can create custom, AI-generated chatbots as well, though the company began blocking teens from the experience earlier this year.

      >Zuckerberg is involved in training the AI avatar, the Financial Times reports, and has also started spending five to 10 hours per week coding on Meta’s other AI projects and participating in technical reviews.

Given all the issues that MZ has been dealing with over the years, it’s hard to look at this project and not wonder if this one more method of avoiding personal responsibility for issues that occur on his watch.

Glad we are destroying the environment so the billionaire AIs can run the world

    3. This sounds like a great idea. Let’s make sure the AI clone can also approve product changes, and monetary decision without having to bother meat suit Zuck.

I am sure that nothing could go wrong and that Zuck can completely trust his AI clone to avoid being manipulated in any way because AI’s have such a good track record of that…. /s

We already can’t tell if he’s reptilian, robotic, or replicated as it is. What’s one more fake Zuck?

    5. I get the impression that his personality would only need a first gen Voodoo card.

    6. A clone of an android. Amazing times we live in.

Is the world really ready for more Zuck?

    7. If it’s only trained on his public statements it’s going to be pretty fucking useless.

      Especially an internal meetings

    8. Obviously the play is to find a way to get the AI Zuck handover all his money

    9. I dont feel like I’m being hyperbolic when I say that Zuckerberg will be remembered as one of the major evils of this era of history

    10. This is so weird. Nobody wants his mannerisms or tone, it’s not what makes him special. If anything its the worst part about him.

What makes him special is that apparently he has the ability to make keen business decisions that make a lot of money (even after subtracting some huge financial failures), whatever you think of these decisions ethically. Like buying Instagram and Whatsapp for a fraction of their current value, like enslaving its users in a dopamine-hitting algorithm that fucks their mental health.

Unless you can make AI mimic those decisions it has no value to replace him to FB, even if it was a 100% perfect copy of his looks/mannerisms/voice/tone, you’d just have the same shitty AI everyone else has that otherwise looks and acts exactly like the weird fucking guy Zuck is.

Great, now we’re intentional building more assholes. Doesn’t this world have enough?

Please stop helping him make money. There are other products to use. There are other products you can be instead of one of his to please his advertisers. You can do it.

Proving that he doesn’t personally add anything to the company and probably hasn’t for at least a decade.

    14. Gold_Repair_3557 on

Oh, so he knows the real version of himself is so useless that he can replaced with AI and it wouldn’t make a difference.

    15. TripleFreeErr on

and he’ll lose his paycheck when he’s no longer doing his job right? right?

    16. META_vision on

Haha, he could use a cardboard cutout of himself and no one would notice

    17. Budget-Toe-5743 on

So it is a copy/paste of the first Mark Zuckerberg, both of which nobody wanted.

    18. So… if he’s replaced by an AI clone, does that mean he doesn’t get paid, since he isn’t actually working?

    19. Guys this AI won’t fool anybody look at it! It has no soul no emotions, what am I paying you for!!!

      Uhh… sir, that’s not a screen, that’s a mirror

Does the AI clone also try to look gen z with the grown out hair and cringe chain
