  1. > Mr. Trump had long downplayed a sharp spike in gas prices driven by the war in Iran by casting it as a “short-term increase” that would subside within weeks.

    What an utter fuckup.

  2. Is Trump actually trying to lose? Because he keeps saying the absolute worst things for his political position.

The country saw its fraudshow, and now it’s 6 more months of high gas prices.

interesting as he said recently that what goes on in Iran is good for the US…

Dementia is a cruel and fickle mistress, and it doesn’t help he was already mentally deranged.

I say it’s probably going to be the end of this administration.

If this keeps up till midterms, and even MORE Epstein stuff comes out, I bet the GOP will team up with a newly formed Democratic House on Impeachment. Or finally 25th him by telling Vance to get the ball rolling.

There is no sane reason to keep Trump another two years if you’re the GOP given how this has gone.

I’m not as concerned about “GOP peril” as I am of runaway inflation, a crashing dollar, rapidly increasing poverty, and worldwide famine. And, to be clear, Trump has personally and unilaterally brought all of these plagues upon us.

Everyone who believes in Democracy, the Constitution, and the United States better get out and vote because Trump is not going to care about breaking any laws to swing elections his way.

Ah well its good to know that’s where we draw the line. Not the pedo’s or murder and kidnapping, or the war but gas prices is what may cause the midterms…

  12. Gas prices are **never** going back to where they were. He’s permanently made it more expensive by adding huge risk to the supply chain, with Iran wanting to endlessly punish the U.S. and Israel. The trouble is, the whole world gets caught in the crossfire and we all suffer.

he’s a Russian agent, he doesn’t give a fuck and he will rat fuck the primaries. or atleast try to

Have we started to see the beginning of the economic effects of the Republicans mismanagement of the government yet? Another summer without international tourism and Americans staying home to save on expenses? We ought to start seeing the increases in fresh food costs soon as non commodity growers price in the massive increases in energy costs for farm production and transport.

Can already see how this plays out. GOP lose huge during mid terms and all Trump’s terrible decisions come to fruition during a majority Dem Senate and house so he can just say it is all their fault.

MAGA will be frothing at the mouth to blame em.

Trump’s whole thing is that free trade is a fraud and that nations should extract as much wealth from the international community as possible.

In that light Iran charging a toll to transit Hormuz is perfectly reasonable. FFS Trump is the one who leveraged a 1m$ fee for bringing a ship into American waters.

  18. VexedCanadian84 on

And magas will defend higher prices and pretend Trump never promised lower costs

  19. It’ll be much more expensive by then. I fully expect $8/gallon later this year. Everywhere else is feeling it, and because it’s a commodity, we’ll be feeling it soon as well.

  20. Chemical-Fault-7331 on

How high would gas have to get, per gallon, for Republican dipshits to finally abandon the party and vote democrat? $9/gallon? $15? $20?

I swear, you fucking dumbasses all throughout Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Florida. How fucking poor and destitute would you have to become to finally abandon this bullshit party and try something new and stop being bigoted racist pieces of shit?

  21. OlorinRidesAgain on

idk what we did to deserve living in a world where this lousy loser is running things.

  22. Salt-Detective1337 on

I’d gladly pay $8 a gallon from here till November if it means the GOP gets slaughtered at the polls.
