Hopefully we can deploy these reactors quickly and without some of the red tape we see with big nuclear plants (I’m thinking underwater fish disco for instance)

Watch out for the NIMBYs. If they’ll object to waste incineration plants they’ll have a fit if they get a SMR in their backyard.

Since the design will be small, I hope the main buildings will end up looking like Shire, Bagend with a giant chimney!

Get on and build the damn things. We can’t keep on being a country that moans about everything being expensive and inefficient whilst also blocking the construction of things that will help eliviate it.
“There’s no where for people to live” – blocks all house development plans
“Energy is too expensive” – blocks construction of solar farms, wind farms and nuclear sites
“The trains always late and expensive” – blocks construction of new railway line designed to generate more capacity and free up capacity on existing lines
