Yes, and second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, etc. place are also Trump foreign policy decisions. Alienating NATO, threatening allies, actually starting the Iran War, effectively pulling the US out of most international orgs like WHO, dismantling USAID which destroyed the US’s soft power in third world countries, and the list goes on.
Everything Trump touches is a walking disaster that is going to take decades to fix.

It was among of the worst political blunders of the 21ist century.
Obama had the deal inked out. Iran agreed to the terms of the deal. A crowning achievement thrown into the trash because of one man’s spite for their predecessor.
Its jaw dropping how bad Trump dropped the ball on this.

Above all, Trump only withdrew from the agreement because Obama had signed it. If it had been solely about the agreement itself, the “greatest dealmaker of all time” could have renegotiated and improved it. But he neither wanted to nor was able to do so because he’s nothing but a blowhard.

The only thing worse than leaving the Iran nuclear deal was forcing our allies to follow suit.
Trump used the US control over international commerce/banking to coerce other countries to impose sanctions on Iran. Now the rest of the world is looking for a way to abandon the dollar in international trade. If they can achieve de-dollarization, then the US will have a lot of trouble financing its debt.

I think virtually everyone knew that at the time. Republicans tried to qualify their disapproval on the basis of the agreement’s silence on conventional ballistic missiles yet, when Trump cancelled the deal, Iran’s conventional missile program accelerated. Then they quibbled over the return of the $400 million of Iran’s own cash (plus interest) which occurred at the same time, though separate from the JCPOA. That sum may ultimately appear to be peanuts compared to what Iran may ultimately extract from the world in tolls or “waterway management fees” on the Straight of Hormuz, should that move remain in place.

Everything that is happening right now with Iran is the direct result of Trump pulling out of Obama’s 2015 deal. At the end of the day, all he wants is a war with Iran. He laid the groundwork way back when he first pulled out from Obama’s Nuclear Deal.

It wasn’t a foreign policy decision. It was a decision to continue to undo everything Obama did while in office.

It was a hundred times cheaper to pay them not to do it. You would think Cankles would understand that concept but he truly is a fool. We are of course bigger fools for putting him in charge.

The world stands on the brink of an apocalypse today because of Trump’s criminality and stupidity, and the stupidity of his supporters.
His mental illness is going to cost untold lives and bring economic ruin to nations across the world.

Vance, Witkoff, & Jared Kushner… The VP might be a remotely useful person in the setting of a high-level negotiation, but the infinitely hubristic and imbecilic Witkoff is anathema to diplomacy, with a track record to prove it. Jared probably went because he took the wrong plane—he had expected to land in Florida instead.
