Für die Uni mache ich eine Präsentation über die bulgarische Sängerin MONA und habe beschlossen, ihr Musikvideo Жива zu verwenden. Ich wollte ein paar Details zur Folklore preisgeben, also fragte ich mich: Ist diese Blumenkrone etwas Kulturelles oder nur eine stilistische Wahl des Künstlers?

This song is very loosely connected to Bulgarian folk music. It’s basically western music with a tiny bit of ornamentation in the vocal melody to make it spicy.

Цветя на главата на жената в българския традиционен фолклор се слагат при сватби, когато невястата все още е „честна“. Неомъжените моми също носят цветя на главите си, когато природата го позволява – сиреч не е много студено.
Момичета също много са носили цветя на главата по време на Цветница или Лазаровден.
Тоест кратък отговор на въпроса ти – традиционно са се носили цветя на главата от жени, но не постоянно, а в съответствие с обичая.
