Tbf. The British intelligence officials sat in on the negotiations prior to the war and said that they’d think Kushner and Witkoff were Israeli assets with how they were negotiating. Iran agreed to the terms, but needless to say Israel and The US still attacked and here we are.
You can call out trumps inner circle and even this entire war without glazing Iran. They are also pieces of shit. Conflicts dont HAVE to have good guys.

People in the comments arguing if a PHD means anything when it’s been specifically stated that the last talks failed due to people on the US side being educated in the relevant subject to understand a deal on uranium enrichment. The American team probably demanded Iran not be allowed any uranian at all not understanding the legitimate peaceful reasons for possession of it.

And even now, where the Trump admin is finally becoming aware of how bad this was both for the world and his “legacy” he actually couldn’t put a competent team together if he tried, because he fired all those people when they told him this operation was a fool’s errand.
Trumps “Art of the Deal” was never a masterclass in earnest negotiations, but predicated upon escalations ultimately backed by his hotshot legal team or worse (we really think Clinton was the only one with bodies on them?). Anyone who looked at the trail of bodies Trump left behind in his history as a “businessman” or the fact that he buried his wife in a golf course allegedly to reduce tax burdens to this country he loves so much would have know this.
