    1. So judges are rotten and Crowns are rotten, both giving slaps on the wrist so people who have no business staying in Canada are given the opportunity to do so.

      Maybe it’s time that these start being elected positions so the desires of the people are represented in courtrooms, judges and prosecutors are held to account for their actions and courts stop being playgrounds for bleeding heart activist lawyers

      That aside, suggesting that a Canadian citizen should only receive a 9 month sentence for stealing a car and leading police on a 30 minute chase is a farce in and of itself.

    2. If two people commit the same crime but get different outcomes because one might be deported, that’s not equal justice.

      Justice shouldn’t depend on your immigration status — that’s the whole problem.
