See this is why I struggle to understand why so many Canadians think the NDP is only good for pie-in-the-sky ideas and/or acting as the ‘conscience of parliament.’ The very first CCF/NDP provincial government in Saskatchewan electrified farms, built the grid road network still in use today, and created North America’s first civilian air ambulance system (among other things). From day one, New Democrats have been *getting shit done*.
