    1. I’ve had every jab I have ever been able to get, pre and post covid. I survived measles as a preschooler, as there was no vax for it yet. I suffer the lingering effects of that disease on a daily basis, and I am 63 now.

The good part of the story is that I’ve never had covid. I’ve also barely ever had the flu since I had the first covid jab or even a cold, although a flu shot is alongside the shingles and pneumonia shots generally recommended for someone my age.

It’s tempting to get into a ‚you whippersnappers dont….‘ whatever here, but I’ve come to see it doesn’t help, and its not really who I wanna be anyway.

So I’ll offer a little perspective instead, and maybe someone will let a little light shine in:

We’re not bulletproof and wont last forever. We’re curators of a spark. That spark, like all sparks, is subject to entropy. That means that under perfect conditions its still going to burn out. Not all at once, but little by little. The experience degrades accordingly.

Do yourself a favor. Stop pretending you know anything. Stop pretending you have hard and fast answers, because nobody does. If you think you do, it isn’t everyone else that is falling for your bullshit.

Take your medicine. Live as long and healthy a life as you are able; and whatever you do, stop interfering with other people who are trying to do this simple thing:

      Live long, and prosper.
