      It’s pretty clear that China is driving the whole thing. Pakistan is an acceptable face to USA but China is the puppet master. Amazing how much soft power USA has conceded to China

      edit: Jfc I just realized it’s even better for China than any other country in the world, the straight delivers something like 75% of the Asian markets oil. If China can not only get it’s tankers through, and whoever kisses its ring, it can get a discount giving away its old shit to Iran. Meanwhile, everyone China doesn’t like around them is going to starve without oil. Xi is playing some 5d chess. At this point I’m willing to bet China wants this war to continue.

      China has hypersonic precision weapons. They even built a full scale replica mockup of a US carrier in the desert for image recognition and targeting tests. They could really cause harm to the US fleet if they really wanted to.

      Like most Amercan made wars post WW2 ? High US body counts like in iraq typically sway pubic opinion.. China and Iran are allies and trading partners, I expect nothing less..
