      Instead of costing $2800 for a shitty slum apartment it’ll only cost $2600!

      It was nice raising the rent from 1800 to 2600 back in 2023. Tenant stayed too because market rent was 2800.

      Yep.  Been „looking“ for the last 4 months.
      Average entry price for 1bdr went from 1500 to around 1100-1200 depending on amenities.  Lots of 2bdrs for 1500.
      Ill take any win.  The nice thing is not getting locked in at a higher rate.  Moving sucks.

      « Rent prices falling » what a sick joke. NO ONE I know has gotten a rent decrease. If your rent is 2500$ it’s going to stay that way and still increase every single year.
