Bei einer militärischen Zeremonie werden nicht identifizierte Soldaten beigesetzt

On April 3, five soldiers were buried with military honors at the National Military Memorial Cemetery. Their identities have not yet been established.

This was reported on April 4 by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

The ceremonies were held in accordance with the requirements of the Statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Protocol and Ceremonial regulations of Ukraine. The fallen soldiers were honored with full military honors, the statement said.

“Eternal memory and respect to the fallen Defenders of Ukraine.”

As noted by the National Military Memorial Cemetery, identification of the fallen is currently ongoing so that families and comrades can learn the burial locations and honor the memory of the dead, the Regional Military Administration added.

Had a friend laid to rest in Kyiv Tuesday. I couldn’t attend but those that did said it was a proper and fitting ceremony. I’ll put his flag down in heroes square this week.
