His fucking book is titled „American Crusade“, for Christ’s sake. The tattoos, the rhetoric, the church he attends, it’s all very obvious that he’s an extremist militant Christian nationalist. He wants his version of biblical law in America, and he wants to spread it worldwide, and he wants to do it with violence.

He’s performing exactly as expected.
The real disaster is Congress giving him the votes.

In the process, he is enriching himself and putting both American soldiers and civilians in grave danger of inevitable retaliation. Which he desperately wants to use as a means of strengthening the autocracy and further enriching himself.
