      Pakistan might be the only country where the Defence minister takes orders from the Army chief and obeys him .

      I would’ve expected a little more self awareness from the defence minister of a widely maligned nuclear-armed state with a dismal human rights record which was birthed in bloodshed in 1947 after designating itself as the official homeland for a religious minority after a long period of British colonial interference and to this day regularly finds itself in skirmishes with its neighbours over illegally occupied and contested border regions.
