They have to learn as well man.
How could there *not* be learner ambulances?
You don’t think an ambulance starts its career by jumping straight into cardiac callouts, do you?
An ambulance needs to get used to less acute calls like bruises and mild abrasions, and work up.

Lying on the ground dying and you see this ambulance wailing its way to you.
“No thanks… I’ll wait for the next one.”
These wouldn’t be operational ambulances.
I’d say like buses, new employees have to learn first and show they are competent.
They say to be patient with learner drivers but this is taking the piss!
Well as long as they are a fully qualified Paramedic…
Definitely not a NAS ambo looking at the age from the license plate, so probably volunteer service like St John’s or the Red Cross.
NAS hire people who are already qualified to drive the vehicle, DFB train inhouse, so a volunteer getting some practice.
Uhhh. Don’t you have to be like a very experienced expert driver to drive and emergency vehicle?
They’re French, L’ambulance!
