What about those edited to eliminate generic diseases or issues related to poor health

    2. You don’t want any brand-new diseases or unintended side effects that will be nightmare for the state especially if this becomes a trend

    3. The problem is not gene-editing in itself. It can be beneficial in theory, eliminate propensity to diseases and what not, what’s not to like? Well, the problem is outside that, the ethics and limits of it all.

Is it available to everyone or just those who can pay? Will the rich have even more privileges and unfair advantages since their kids will be better than those who can’t afford to have perfect kids? And will they stop only at removing propensity to diseases or will they move on to having smarter, stronger, taller, prettier kids? These are the real issues.
