      A left wing sticker ~~celebrating~~ justifying the allied moral bombings of German cities in WW2 by saying „German perpetrators are no victims“. The symbol in the bottom right is a combination of the Antifa flags and the symbol the Royal Airforce.     

      Edit: I changed „celebrating“ to „justifying“, because people got caught up with the wording. Still seems celebratory to me in combination with the Royal Airforce logo, but maybe that’s just my interpretation. No harm intended. 🙂 Have a beautiful day everyone.

      This is brought out by Antifa, an anti-fascist ideological group. Many German fascists claim that the Nazis were victims in WW2, since their cities were bombed. This sticker says that culprits cannot also be victims.

      „German perpetrators aren‘t victims“ is the translated Text, the picture is a Photo of Dresden after the bombings of Febuary 13th 1945, the logo is a combination of the classic antifa Double flags and the symbol of the British Royal Airforce, which carried out said bombings.

      This Sticker is saying that Dresden‘s destruction in WW2 was a consequence of its involvement in the Nazi regime: The City was a major transportation hub.

      While others say Dresden was an innocent city needlessly destroyed and its people murdered, the creators of this Sticker say the opposite, that Dresden was complicit and deserved its fate.

      It‘s a complicated topic that gets Hijacked by both left- and right-leaning groups every year.

      That’s probably an Anti-D Sticker.

      Anti-Ds are allegedly Leftist who argue every German citizen was a perpetrator of WW2 and deserves revenge. In extreme cases they argue [Nakam](https://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nakam&action=history) would have been a good thing.

      These people therefore can’t be Leftist. Also they supported Israel no matter what Israel does, it’s essentially an Israeli Nationalist movement in Germany.

      Adding Context: The Sticker uses a very famous picture taken from the Rathaustum in Dresden in 1945. For a long time Dresden has been the meeting place for largest eurepean neo nazi gathering, always under the pretext of remembering the victims of the allied air raids. „German perpetrators are no victims“ has been a slogan from the left protesting these nazi marches for a long time.

      A country’s government makes decisions, and the common people suffer the consequences. Yes, Germany was the aggressor, and yes, many Germans individually have blood on their hands, but also many Germans opposed the Nazis and still had their lives ruined.

      In war, everybody is a victim.

      Whenever somebody tells you a situation is simple, they’re trying to manipulate you.

      I would give them the benefit of doubt. a german friend of mine told me „hey lots of people back then we re forced to join the hytler otherwise they would shoot their families“. I said „ok not all wwii germans“.
      now we see afd rising, people actively and shamelessly being racist and I think my friend’s claim loses some credibility. I have to remind them.
