There’s a great game you can play. A couple of years ago they built, at great expense, [a lift](https://www.thoma-aufzuege.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4185-Dalbergstrasse-Aschaffenburg-20241112-10.jpg) from the castle down to the riverbank in an innovative design that has earned it the nickname of „the Mikado“, after the [famous children’s pastime](https://i.otto.de/i/otto/201581d0-f252-5436-aaf7-20838455e7b9?h=520&w=551&sm=clamp&upscale=true&fmt=auto).

The game is this: before taking the lift, you have to guess whether or not it is working that day.
