Okay, can we just declare dissolution of our nation and its old retrograde treaties?

Can we become New Canada, a place where inalienable characteristics aren’t used to part and parse us into endlessly small slivers of disparate populations each of whom is squabbling for their slice of a shrinking pie?

A hierarchy of victimhood within grievance politics isn’t an optimal way to run a country.

We are already three monopolies in a trench coat. Canadians deserve much better than this.

“But Esquimalt no longer has access to the territory they had “relied on to sustain their way of life,” according to the claim.”

      Then go to superstore.

It’s interesting how when a First Nation sues the government for doing something wrong, people lump that in with all the other First Nations disputes with the government and suggest there’s some kind of pattern. But when a corporation or a land owner sues the government that’s interpreted as an isolated incident evaluated on its own merits. Why do you think that is?
