Depends what you mean by better. I haven’t looked over the info and accuracy at all. But I think the first one is easier on the eye and more inviting.

    2. Depends on the medium and target audience.

A poster for people of all ages? The first one.

A pamphlet for specific people that have some sort of basic knowledge or need a tl dr? The second one.

The second one has too much text.

    3. Based on what?

It’s hard to compare them when they serve a different purpose and are giving completely different information.

You wouldn’t judge a fish on how well it walks

first one: what you see in the pediatricians waiting room. its not too busy, not too distracting, you have a ton of other things int he waiting room, its designed to be informative, and educational, but not detailed

second one is the brochure the doctor gives you when telling you if you poke here, here, and here, its still squishy

neither is „Better“ or „Worse“ both serve different purposes. the first one is simpler, and easier to process. the second one is more informative, but it does also seem to come from a place of expecting the availability of someone to be able to ask questions to.

Change your A from red to lavender on the first chart. Match your letters to your circles.

Your “color” baby doesn’t really represent cyanosis well. He seems angry.
