What a world. Articles of Impeachment filed today and we didn’t even hear about it because we were worried our country was going to commit genocide because oil prices were high.

  2. He’s been impeached twice and nothing happened to him. Sure, why not. This time will be different right? RIGHT?!

  3. newtoredditcom on

Wouldn’t it be smarter to wait until after the midterms when more dems are in congress??

    „Democrats aren’t doing anything!!“

    Democrats file articles of impeachment

„Democrats are wasting time with pointless motions“

How about we blame the people actually causing the harm instead of chastising the party that’s not in power?

  5. He TACO’d so this won’t go anywhere. And then in 2 weeks there will be more outrage as he does some other ridiculous shit against his self imposed deadline

    Before people dismiss this.

We got to keep the pedo baby busy. Otherwise he’ll continue digging this hole for America.

  7. The GOP members of Congress and the Senate have all their loyalties with dear leader and have no regard for the American people or for the good of the country so President Kiddidler has nothing to worry about. He’ll also send his goons around to visit the GOP members and their families to make sure the vote goes the “right”way

Johnson will kill the bill. He hasn’t read anything recently and doesn’t know what all the fuss is about. He’ll go back to monitoring his kids porn habit.

He got impeached TWICE and still finished his term. Impeachment doesn’t work when the paedophile has no shame.

This will go nowhere because Republicans are selfish, self centered, spineless, cowardly pricks that care only about what their donors want.

Mike Johnson, John Thune and all the Republicans need to be put in the public spotlight on this. If they use their numbers to stop it, they need to be put in the public spotlight. If the war ramps back up, if we reach this point again, the truth accurate deaths and injuries of us service members, the cost of bases destroyed, the cost of weapons systems destroyed, the ammunition used up, the depletion of munitions and military gear, etc. all blame must be directed to the Republicans who blockled this measure.

If this measure is only for putting all Congressional Republicans in the public spotlight for future campaign ads, then that is good enough. There will be a lot of blowback to this Iran War here in the USA. The high gas prices, the out of control consumer costs, deaths and injuries of US service members, a wrecked US military can all be blamed on this spotlight in the election ads.

What has an impeachment really ever accomplished though? Put the criminal in jail.

Remember how he was impeached twice? Then was voted out of office, then was reelected? Please explain to me exactly what the fuck impeachment does. Because I see that it does nothing.

IMPEACH, Prosecute, indict, convict and IMPRISON the Disgusting Orange Piece of shit Maggot

All posturing. The current Republican Party is the most spineless group of humans, they don’t have the conviction. This means nothing.

Can someone educate me. Does this need to pass a committee or something before being voted on? I feel like I’ve heard dems say they will impeach but it failed without having a vote. Will this make it to the floor?

  17. This is the third time. He’s got too much dirt on the senate for it to ever go through.

  18. And sadly, it will go absolutely no where… it will never even see the light of day in the House…

Oh, so NOW they’re finally getting the balls to follow in Al Green’s footsteps

He will be on his jet to Venezuela before anything can happens to him or he will develop severe „health“ problems which will prevent him from fulfilling his duties. he won’t actually be held responsible for anything.

I have zero trust anyone in Washington DC will follow through with this.

All jd vance has to do is come out and say he has severe dementia and say some other shit about him and he’ll be president

  23. pimpampoumz on

Good. Even of it goes nowhere, articles of impeachment should be filed every time he does something unlawful – or worse, unconstitutional. Every time he says something that denotes intentions completely unacceptable in a democracy.
Congress need to keep on his ass. Be relentless.

  24. Chaos_Theory1989 on

There’s so much corruption, I’m sad to say nothing will happen.

  25. GoldenDiamond on

I’m just so desensitized to what he gets away with and what this whole administration gets away with that this sort of headline doesn’t even get an eyebrow raise out of me anymore. Do I want it to happen? Yes. Does it deserve to happen? Yes. Will it happen? Probably not.

  26. This is the third time he’s been impeached right? Isn’t he the only president to be impeached more than once?

  27. Remember when the senate declined to convict him for January 6th because he wasn’t going to return to power, anyway?

    Temporary Transfer of Power (Involuntary)

If the President cannot or will not declare inability:
    • Vice President + majority of Cabinet can declare the President unfit
    • VP becomes Acting President

    If disputed:
    • Congress decides (requires 2/3 majority in both Houses)

  29. too-left-feet on

The votes aren’t there to remove him. The only viable path forward is to overturn the Congressional majorities ( at least one ) and hold Trump in check for his last 2 years. But we need congressional leadership that is willing to scrap, not the lukewarm crew we have now.
