    1. You can’t have unemployed people in Russia if you are running out of people for the past 4 years 🤣🤣🤣

Greece was 28% 13 years ago, every year since it’s falling.

Edit : it’s not migration, 700.000 new jobs were created the last decade, since 2023 Greece has more people coming in than leaving. I’m lazy to link but what I say are from statista and the website Greeceinfigures

    3. Needs to be compared with employment rate to give actual context. Otherwise comparing unemployment rate between countries doesn’t make much sense.

    4. Russia 2.2 -> are you unemployed „yes“ I have a job for you in Ukraine

Greece is unemployment rate is under 10% AND isn’t the highest in Europe.

      Greece FTW.

The german number is somewhat untrue. We have a high rste of people in jobs, but many of these jobs cannot support them. We have a huge low wage sector in which people need ro work at least 2 jobs to survive or take wellfare programs by the state. So yes, a lot of people work, but not for their good in primary but the companies good

    7. Now add unemployment and disability. I suspect Norway would be anything but green

Do you know how and why Belarus has the best rating? 😎 It was very easy, our dictator just introduced a tax for parasitism (idleness)!🥲

    9. Switzerland is not that low unless those are the self-reported numbers of each country.

We have to understand that each country has its own self reported unemployment rate that is calculated using methodologies that differ from country to country. Then there is the ILO standard that is used to calculate the unemployment rate for each country the same way to make results comparable.

According to Eurostat the Swiss unemployment rate was 5.0% in September 2025. This is using the International Labour Organisation (ILO) standard definition of unemployment.

The methodologies are vastly different, after the new law treating people who actively avoid looking for a job as inactive the unemployment rate in B&H will drop below 8%.

Such laws are very strict in Poland and Czechia as well. Grey economy remains a big issue in Bosnia, companies pay their employees in envelopes actively avoiding taxes while they get their social and medical care via the unemployment bureau.

It’s wrong to think that 0,1% unemployment is a good rate or that we should strive for 0%. Economically 1-3% is the sweet spot.

Como es posible que Ucrania tenga un 12% de desempleo? Literalmente están en guerra! Que su ejército se ponga las pilas y empiece a reclutar

    14. In Hungary the current unemployment time officially can only last for 90 days. After that the person’s status expires, whether they found a work or still unemployed.
