  1. Asked if he regretted his initial support for the war, Carney said Iran had long been a sponsor of terrorism.

„The first point that we were making was the desirability of the ending of both that state-sponsored terrorism and the nuclear ambitions of Iran,“ he said.

    „That remains the case.“

Iran was negotiating, and Israel and US bombed them anyway. At this point, Iran should be allowed to have a nuke, because it’s the only way to guarantee their civillian infrastructure would be safe, from US and Israel’s war crimes.

Why is Trump allowed to truth out explicit war crimes, without our PM being capable of calling it out by name?

The nuance here is palapable. Over time and people are having a hard time seeing it. Sometimes I feel it’s on purpose.

Carney supported efforts for ending weapons nuclear program in Iran. The statement of Carney was made as if military forces of the US had carefully planned an operation for a threat we didn’t know about. Carney is walking a tight rope, and yes we can argue whether his „Iran Regime is bad, we aren’t sending troops, but we do hope US prevents Iran from getting nukes“ (all -technically- true) was the right move in hindsight.

We also believe in rules of engagement and that civilians are not appropriate targets in any conflict. Which Trump has clearly started to openly call for War Crimes. Like not even grey area military action. Just War Crimes. **Of course we don’t want that.**

  3. I mean Canada and the USA support Israel and they are committing genocide to the Palestine people maybe we shouldn’t say we support or don’t support other countries wars until we can get our priorities straight. I thought people fought in WW2 because they believed genocide was wrong. If that were true tho we would all be at war with Israel. The world is a sad, dark place right now.
