Thats why we only go private, cause there is no point paying 300-400 kr for „go home and take paracet“

Me, first pregnancy, paid for a private ultrasound (because I am from a country where it is normal to have an early ultrasound, rule out ectopic pregnancy you know). Ultrasound showed placenta, but no embryo. Same with a second ultrasound after some bleeding. Very much wanted pregnancy, so very sad and afraid. So I called my fastlege and told them about it. The lady on the phone was like: Are you in pain? No. So appointment two weeks from now. Thank you for two more weeks of not knowing if I would have a baby or not. Two more weeks of emotional distress. Thankfully my actual fastlege (a British doctor) got me an appointment with an obgyn a couple days later (who unfortunately confirmed that there was a placenta, but no baby – and was surprised when I burst into tears). And that was only the beginning of the horrible odyssey that was my first pregnancy.
