I thought the students are anti-regime and supposed to be the people to rise up and bring down the current government.
Strikes on research facilities associated with nuclear capabilities or defense manufacturing.
Makes it a much more interesting distinction, especially as it’s not as analogous to the US where yeah MIT has a lab that researches things for defense. But we have many other more advanced and „appropriate“ testing and research facilities whereas Iran’s are more linked to universities as they don’t have that full development infrastructure and pipeline to separate it.
