I actually cried. Just a little. When he died I listened to the commentary on the Apollo 13 blu ray for the second time.
Jim Lovell is my hero. The only astronaut to have been to the Moon twice and never landed.

Man… After being so awesome and madly smart that not only you get to go into space, but you get to go to the moon… and then you get a personal message from Jim Lovell telling you you’re cool while you’re looking at the moon from practically on the moon… They must be over the moon!
