Does anyone have any actual analysis on what the goal is? Honestly asking. I’d post the question myself here but there’s no question posts allowed so…
Whats the goal of this? Like purely from a strategic perspective. Give me the best and worst case scenarios. The dorkier and as unbiased as possible the better.
If the US wants to „Claim Iranian oil“ as part of its objective in this war, then it has to keep Kharg Islands oil infrastructure intact.
It would be taking away a direct bargaining chip in negotiations or a potential objective for US troops.
I would wager they are currently hitting military and or infrastructure on the island „not oil related“.
Was the attack on oil infrastructure or other targets?
