Hilarious that they chose to not disclose the nationality of these “foreign nationals” in the headlines despite the fact that everyone who lives here know it.

As a mountain worker I can confirm this is a problem. Some places have begun to crack down and now have roaming security that will take the passes of the entire group if the instructor doesn’t have a visa. When a student has an issue with one of these instructors it becomes the mountain’s problem because there is no liability. They also tend to be uncertified and do some really stupid shit like taking 30 kids through the trees or terrain park.
They need to be regulated! These Japanese snowboarders SUCK!! no offense to them but what the heck, they are so many snowboarders on the mountain that have no clue what they are doing
