    Belohnung für gestohlenes Fahrrad in Sallins Co. Kildare


    Hallo Leute, mein Merida Crossway-Herrenfahrrad wurde vom Bahnhof in Sallins Co. Kildare gestohlen.

    Scrotes durchbrach zwei Schleusen, um es am Ostersonntag irgendwann zwischen 19:00 Uhr und 14:00 Uhr am nächsten Tag zu bekommen.

    Gute Belohnung, falls gefunden oder für Hilfe bei der Rückgabe

      Do the Gardai ever put in any major effort for bike theft?

      Or has anyone had any positive outcomes after their bike was stolen?

      One of the major turn offs of commuting by bike to public transport in this country (being 5-10km from the nearest bus, train etc.) is the fear of coming back after a long day of work to OPs situation and having to shell out for a new bike. Possibly multiple times…

      I was looking for a bike 2 years ago, i asked the seller the size. It was too small. He was a young lad, and asked me what i wanted and he’d have it in a few days.

      Totally sus so i told him to do one.

      That was super easy taking for them I’m afraid. IMHO when you have the dosh to replace it get a folder that can come on the train with you, locking at stations, even with a D lock, is futile.

      What do you consider a „good reward“ ? Overnight at a train station is high risk!
