      Please for the love of King Charles read the article.  ICE is immigration and customs.  Trump uses a loophole inside the USA to use part of them as Gestapo. 

      They are and have been in Canada for decades. Airports and border crossings into the USA for legitimate customs type roles.  You know, „normal“ stuff that needs to happen when you get your passport checked. 

      This was in place long before Trump militarized them and gave them a „cool name“ .   The ICE in Canada are not the thugs on the news murdering people.

      While welcome to fulfil their duties within their offices, they have no jurisdiction to do anything on our land outside of it that won’t be a direct provocation.

      ICE operates in Canada because Canadian airports have American customs pre-clearance, otherwise they have no authority outside of America. They are only allowed to detain you at the airport untill the RCMP arrive

      There shouldn’t be ICE agents in Canada in the first place, it’s a sovereign country with its own federal police agencies.

      I don’t care if they say that it’s agents don’t carry guns in Canada. They lie. Who is going to check them? Vancouver police, RCMP? FBI and local police in the US cities can’t touch them, we won’t be able to control them either. Keep ICE in USA that’s where they belong. And don’t forget that they harassing canadian citizens there on regular bases.

      I’d bet money that most ICE agents wouldn’t qualify to carry weapons in Canada if they weren’t working for a gov’t agency.

      Just so we’re clear, ICE agents in Canada have no authority to make arrests, nor are they allowed to carry firearms.

      My understanding is that they’re here for joint criminal investigations, usually gang/drug smuggling/human trafficking related.

      I don’t want them in Canada either, but there’s no risk of them scooping someone up and sending them to El Salvador or whatever.
