      Using the same line of reasoning, he already treats privately owned muzzleloaders as the only “acceptable” weapons. The real goal, of course, is to keep tightening the rules until any privately held weapon that might one day be turned against his own brand of tyranny is neatly outlawed.

While there may be validity to Trump’s arguments on birthright citizenship, there is no patriotic American, liberal or conservative, who should support amending the Constitution by presidential executive order.
