“The Shadow Governor of Kandahar (or whatever) province has been eliminated, the head of the Taliban’s suicide bombing corps has been wiped out, the director of intelligence for the Taliban was killed by special forces, the Taliban’s liaison to Al-Qaeda was killed in a drone strike, the former Guantanamo Bay detainee who now leads the Talibans such and such operations has been killed in Pakistan…”
