I’ll believe it when I see it. Probably will see the Easter bunny first.

  2. Like for realsies, can we please get an adult in the whitehouse…..for fuck sake, I expect more out of my 9 year old… this is ridiculous!!!

  3. It’s the duty of every American to laugh directly in the face of any Republican who ever says anything about Democrat decorum ever again until the end of time.

The 25th amendment would be very difficult to implement. What we need is just a few Republican members of the House of Representatives to leave the GOP and go independent or with Democrats. With such action, the House could stop the funding of Trump deranged policies endangering America and the international financial markets. Also, it would start aggressive investigations into widespread corruption.

Are there just a few GOP members willing to be a hero? We have working class soldiers risking their lives right now. Time for reasonable Republicans to be true patriots!

I really hate these god damn headlines.

Don’t report until it actually fucking happens.  Be better daily beast

I work in a warehouse putting boxes in trailers. Why am I held to a higher standard than the president of the United States?

  7. Here is your daily reminder that the 25th amendment is harder to remove a president with than impeachment.

It might be fun to dunk on the cabinet for being sycophants but it’s a waste of time and energy that could be spent pressuring the people who actually have the power to remove Trump – Congress, and specifically the Senate.

America showing the world how ineffective their “safeguards” and “democracy” are.

  9. Congress has all the power and authority to stop Trump.

    They’ll do absolutely nothing.

    Fuck Congress.

  10. I’m begging the people „calling for“ the 25th amendment to actually [read it](https://constitutioncenter.org/the-constitution/amendments/amendment-xxv). It isn’t just „one weird trick to get rid of the president without Congress“ and anyone who presents it is such is either too lazy to look it up or lying to you.

The 25th amendment allows the cabinet to indefinitely transfer executive power to the vice president in the event that the president is medically incapacitated but still alive. Once the president asks to be reinstated, it takes a supermajority in both houses of Congress to sustain the transfer. Even if Congress did vote to keep him out that wouldn’t actually remove him from office and he would have to keep doing that every time he asked to be reinstated. The bar for impeachment is absurdly high, but the bar for removing an unwilling president under the 25th amendment might as well be on Mars

  11. One of my friend’s favorite games is „Imagine if Obama..“, where you just take something Trump or another Repub said and imagine if Obama said it.

I’m pretty sure the collective „REE“ from the right would power the globe for the next century if Obama had said „Praise be to Allah“ on any day of the year, let alone on Easter.

Wake me up when he’s actually getting bundled off to the memory care unit.

    Bullshit.

Nothing will come out of this.

Americans don’t care, nobody will care.

His entire cabinet is wearing shoes that don’t fit because he guessed their shoe size and they’re too afraid to not wear them.

No one is invoking the 25th Amendment.

  15. I know this is used alot, but this time is special. Imagine if Obama did this.

  16. ten_year_rebound on

Unless the calls are from prominent members of his own party, this means nothing.

  17. I’d bet my left testicle there have been ZERO calls for the 25th. Republicans are too scared and Democrats are a bunch of fucking pussies.

  18. luv2ctheworld on

Uh, yeah, like all the other times weren’t good enough to get rid of him.
