I doubt that over 80% of South Sudanese can speak English considering its current situation.

It’s actually a big advantage for those African countries in terms of global connectivity.

South Sudan??? There isn’t even anything mentioned about South Sudan mentioned in the source

Pretty sure South Africa should be here… I’m South African and I have NEVER come across someone who cannot speak English. Maybe not fluent in rural areas, but still understandable.

Quite a few African countries surprise me.

I’m surprised Estonia and Finland aren’t on the list.

You get props for excluding Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.

Edit: if im not mistaken they also havent highlighted Guernsey and Jersey

This is missing alot of countries. Here’s a better map for English proficiency:
No source? I would have thought there are many more countries where over 80% speak English including half of Europe, but to me depends on how they’re defined „can speak English“

This can’t be correct – there is no way that less than 80% of either Jersey or Guernsey speak English.

Yes, [Jèrriais](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%A8rriais) and [Guernésiais](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guern%C3%A9siais) exist, but they are only spoken by a very small amount of the population – who would also be fluent in English.
maps without Zeeland
Falklands?
Phillipines, Belize, South Africa, Finland??
Nonsense. South Africa and Zim should be switched
This map is wrong on so many levels. Don’t even know where to start. Omitting Singapore to begin with.
Should actually remove Quebec from the highlighted areas. Fewer than 60% of Quebecois actually speak English
Where is my beloved Singapura
How can South Sudan be there but not Namibia or South Africa?
Why haven’t they united? Are they stupid?
