Poor telegraph/DM, they were already putting out 5 hit pieces a day about the greens and ZP, clearly not good enough, they need to pump those numbers.
Even though this is one poll, and I do not think Greens are actually topping most polls soon, the trend of Greens gaining at the expense of Reform and Labour is clear.
I’d love to see a labour/green coalition tbh, I don’t think their ready to lead and asuch as I like them I have serious misgivings about their defence position. It’ll do them so much damage if they cock it up and play into the hands of the right wing bastards were trying to avoid.
For info, I’m not some lefty zealot, I just think the collapse of the conservative party means there’s currently no competent moderate right party choice for the non-socialists to vote for.
A minority Labour government with a lot of pressure in exchange for votes from the Green Party would be just fine by me (or vice versa).
Disastrous news. If either Reform or the Greens get in I’m gone.

Both Green and Reform would destroy the country. Both of their leaders love the ability to be contrarian without the actual accountability they’d have to deal with as a PM when their outright delusional policies inevitably do not work.
The way we all look at those who voted for Brexit in disgust and confusion, asking how they could be so idiotic to do so, when all the information and warnings signs were there, will be the same way the next generation will look at anyone who voted for a green government. Things can always get worse.
14 years of Tory misrule can’t be undone overnight. I’ve not heard Polanski make a single serious policy suggestion that might actually improve the country. Everything he says is some riff on *”We’ll fix it with more investment, and we’ll get the money for that investment by taxing the greedy, selfish, dishonest billionaires!”*

And this will be EVERYWHERE on ALL news cycles for weeks on end, right? Because that is what we do when polls indicate smaller parties growing? Right? And they will get increased coverage and more screen time to talk about their views? RIGHT?

They are like a protest vote at best but with policies which are unfit for government

It’s unacceptable for a party with around about 20% of the vote being able to control the country. I say this as someone who is a fan of the Greens (outside of nuclear disarmament).
Ultimately though I will vote for whoever I think is more likely to stop Reform in my constituency.
