      In italy they cut the taxes on gasoline (0,25€/lt), this is why it increased so little, otherwise we would have been like China more or less.

      I can only imagine that for Europe, the majority of the purchase price is fuel duty and tax. So the increase in the cost of the fuel itself has a lesser effect on the overall price.

      How are some still blue lol, like brazil, mexico, indonesia, are light blue so understandable, so how’s india still dark blue?

      Finland and Sweden are not correct. In Finland the price has risen about 20-30% whereas in Sweden the price increase has been tiny.

      New Zealand should be darker than it is. Fuel has increased over 30% for sure. It’s gone from $2.40 a litre where I live to $3.44. And I’m in one of the cheaper areas of the country.

      Could someone please ELI5 why some countries (Madagascar, for example) have seen a negative price change in oil?

      This is confusing when thinking of oil as a globally traded commodity

      Diesel doubled in Australia. Went from $1.65/l to $3.35/l. Removal of half the government tax took it back to $3.00/l.
